Now I don't know too much about Twizzle, other than I really enjoyed watching it as a small child. This was another puppet series produced by Roberta Lee & made by Gerry Anderson's production company APF (still don't know what APF stands for!)

Twizzle was a doll who could extend his arms & legs. Rather than using the word extend he would say I'll "twizzle" my legs etc.

In the toy shop where we first meet Twizzle, he is befriended by a Golliwog & Teddy Bear & is very happy to have made new friends, but a nasty girl wants to buy Twizzle & so he runs away.

As night approached he went into a dog kennel & found a new friend called Footso the cat, whose legs looked like she was wearing socks. They became fast friends &  had lots of exciting adventures together.
